Wennovation Hub welcomed the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters, Sen Babafemi Ojudu and his team to our Ibadan Office today on a courtesy visit.
The team was warmly received at the Hub with Ahmed Umar, Chief Operating Officer expounding on our various activities, programmes and impact made in our areas of focus – Agriculture, Health, Clean Energy, and Education – and also our business development support for Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs). He also explained our mission of reducing unemployment and encouraging innovation among the youth population by providing access to enabling infrastructure and resources, and the progress made in achieving that goal.
Senator Ojudu appreciated the Hub Leadership and expressed his delight at the kind of impact Wennovation Hub is making in the Ecosystem. He also lauded the empowerment and support strategy for the Street Economy, especially Wennovation Hub’s focus on AgriTech Entrepreneurs. He reiterated his desire to start up an AgriHub – similar to Wennovation’s AgriTech model – focusing mainly on the Agricultural Sector in Ekiti State. He also lauded other initiatives and expressed his desire to see these ideas replicated in his home state, Ekiti and in other states of the federation.
In his remarks, Michael Oluwagbemi, Co-founder & Lead Strategist of Wennovation Hub appreciated the Special Adviser and his team for taking out time to see the impact being generated by Wennovation Hub and looks forward to strategic partnerships between both parties.
Also as part of the courtesy visit, the Special Adviser and his team were shown around the facilities at the Hub.
